ECO PRINTING PROCESSES
At Branded Bio Events, we take care to ensure we minimise our impact on the environment and, to help our customers overcome the stigma that production printing is not eco-friendly, develop products that are environmentally safe.
We take these steps, with the use of our HP Latex inks we use are UL ECOLOGO, GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified, and use Eco Mark-Certified ink cartridges that are odourless, meeting stringent environmental standards. They have great outdoor durability and versatility across all the popular media types used in sign and display applications. Latex inks are also a viable option for indoor use, as they are odourless, non-flammable and non-combustible, making them perfect for office, school and healthcare environments.

With all the products we use, we are striving to be a PVC-free company, with the eventual aim of replacing all of our product lists with a viable, great quality eco-alternative product.
Wall & Backdrop Graphics
Our PVC Free Wall and Backdrop Graphics offer the best of both worlds – eco-friendly and lightweight, yet robust and with excellent opacity for vibrant, attention-grabbing displays. Ideal for large-scale graphics in retail, corporate, and many other settings.
Banner
Our PVC Free Banner offer all the durability and flexibility you need to display with confidence, indoors or outside. Mesh and blackout versions help you create impactful outdoor displays with 100% recyclable PVC-free material, made from PET, ideal for any outdoor application.
Pop Up Display
Our PVC Free Pop Up Display material offers a sustainable alternative, without compromising on performance or aesthetic. These can be used to create everything from dramatic wall displays in retail and hospitality environments to freestanding totems and backdrops for trade shows and exhibitions.
Self-Adhesive Vinyl
Our PVC Free Self Adhesive Vinyls can be used internally and externally. These are products that offer an environmentally friendly alternative in which the adhesive is solvent free. A product that has less impact on the environment during its manufacturing process, available as a blackout, semi permanent and permanent.

Our indoor display products come from recycled or other sustainable materials that are 100% recyclable.
Falconboard / Dufaylite
Falconboard is a sustainable, environmentally friendly product made from 100% recyclable paper, making it an excellent green alternative to PVC foam boards, MDF, plywood etc. With its consistent high quality print surface, it’s printing capabilities equal that of foam boards. It’s unique structure can handle the most demanding of applications due to its high rigidity and dimensional stability.

DISPA Board
DISPA is the paper board with the unique embossed paper core which gives it strength and rigidity. It is the perfect solution for short term promotional campaigns. DISPA delivers everything you would expect from a sign and display board- flat, smooth surface, excellent printability, rigidity and stability- and a unique design made of 100% paper.

OUTDOOR DISPLAY
There are notable innovations in eco-friendly printing in the print materials used. These products come from recycled or other sustainable materials that are recyclable.
Storm Board
Storm Board is an eco-friendly and environmentally conscious alternative to plywood. It has hundreds of potential uses and applications both internally and externally, including construction hoardings, advertising boards, furniture and much more. It can be worked like wood, but it doesn’t rot or weather. At the end of its life it can be shredded again and re-used to make new Storm Board.

Bubble Board
Bubble Board is an eco-friendly polypropylene sheet for print, signage and fabrication. The cell structure of the bubble allows the sheet to be manufactured at a lower weight than other polypropylene sheets, while retaining strength and rigidity which outperforms it’s natural competition. The surface is matt white but can be made with other colours or finishes. It is corona treated to ensure maximum ink adhesion when printed and is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Polypropylene sheet is 100% recyclable it contains a percentage of side trim and reworked material from the factory waste output making it environmentally friendly.

Smart-X
Smart-X is not only 100% recyclable but 95% of the production waste of Smart-X is collected and recycled. These sheets can be printed with excellent results using UV curing inks on our flatbed machine, recommended for exterior signage for up to 2 years. Smart-X is a lightweight, all-plastic sheet material with surfaces of UV and weather resistant solid polystyrene (HIPS) and a core of expanded polystyrene that is completely moisture-resistant with no adhesive between core and cover layers it is therefore made from 100% polystyrene and, therefore, perfectly meets the demand for ecological materials.

Accoya Wood
Accoya wood has been Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold. The sustainable, stable and durable wood also retains its Platinum level in the Material Health classification. It has a carbon footprint that is lower than that of popular alternatives, produced from plantation grown pine trees including FSC material. Accoya is suitable for all exterior wood applications where long life, low maintenance and a low whole life cost are required. Accoya wood may be fastened to a timber sub- frame with nails, clamps, wood screws, dowels and bolts.

Tricoya Wood
Tricoya is a sustainably sourced FSC® timber, made using a high-performance resin which has zero added formaldehyde in its formulation, ensuring the product is suitable for environmentally sensitive areas. An extreme durable MDF, the panel exhibits outstanding durability and dimensional stability which allow them to be used in applications once limited to products such as concrete, plastics or metals. With the added benefits of light weight, sustainable raw materials and a guarantee of up to 50 years above ground and 25 years in ground, these ground breaking panels provide architects, specifiers and designers with an entirely new construction material, allowing great design flexibility and endless opportunities for creativity.
