Sustainabus – London New Year’s Day Parade

- Project Overview: Designed in collaboration with Westminster Council, the Sustainabus embodies their sustainability vision and goals.
- Features:
- Approximately 60 square metres of PVC-free vinyl printed and installed around the bus
- 16sqm of living wall frame system hung with gripple wires from the top railings of the open-top bus
- Around 600 plants from 10 different outdoor species
- Installation: Bus graphics were installed at the depot on New Year’s Eve, with the main living walls set up on the parade route on the morning of the event.
- Partnership: Kindly provided by Tootbus, the world’s first clean energy sightseeing bus company, using one of their electric buses.
- Tootbus Commitment: Tootbus is repowering a fleet of 15 open-top double-decker buses with high-tech electric drive trains, aiming for a fully electric fleet by 2030 in line with the Mayor of London’s net zero ambitions. This initiative is part of their commitment to reducing environmental impact and promoting green tourism.
